Dr. Alice was born in Taiwan and raised locally right here in Burnaby! She attended the University of British Columbia, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in both Microbiology and Immunology and in Commerce. After few years of working in the biotechnology industry in Southern California, Dr. Alice continued her education at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Recognized for her outstanding academic achievements, Dr. Alice was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Dr. Alice then completed a year of General Practice Residency at University of Texas San Antonio, and finally her orthodontic residency at West Virginia University, earning her Master in Orthodontics.
Dr. Alice believes that everyone deserves a smile they can be proud of! She strives to create a positive, meaningful experience for her patients and is grateful to be a part of their transformation!
Her professional affiliations include the Canadian Association of Orthodontics, BC Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She is a diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics, and a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
In her spare time, Dr. Alice loves hanging out with her daughter, family, and friends. She practices Pilates, loves to explore the world through eating and traveling. Dr. Alice can’t wait to meet you!
