A Straighter Smile in 5 Steps

Invisalign clear aligners from Burnaby Heights Orthodontics are a convenient option for straightening your smile.

STEP 1

First Consultation

Your orthodontist will assess your smile to find out if Invisalign is right for you. Next, we will use a digital scanner to create a 3D image of your smile and what it may look like with Invisalign treatment.

STEP 2

Custom Treatment Plan

Based on the results of your initial assessment and digital scans, we will map out a specific Invisalign treatment plan with timelines. Your plan will include the precise movement of your teeth that will happen with each set of aligners.

STEP 3

Begin Your Treatment

A series of custom Invisalign clear aligners will be created just for you. You will wear them each day, and remove them to eat, drink, brush and floss. As your treatment continues, your aligners will gradually begin to move your teeth.

STEP 4

Switch Your Aligners

About every 2 weeks, you will change to the next set of clear aligners. You will also have brief checkup appointments at our office – every six weeks or so – to review your progress. 

STEP 5

Maintain Your Smile

It's an exciting day when you reach the end of your treatment! During your final appointment, we will discuss next steps, and your dentist will prescribe retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions.
